Maple Ridge – a part of the community

The design of Maple Ridge is such that it appears to be normal housing. It was designed to be this way – a place where people can get on with their lives and be part of the local community.

Our staff recognize the individual needs of our residents and work to ensure that their wishes are ascertained, respected and met wherever possible.

We support the rights of residents to have access to their records, the right to vote, to confidentiality, to form relationships, to practise their religion and to be fully involved in every aspect of their daily life.

Maple Ridge, a privately-owned establishment, was purpose-built in 1987 and provides accommodation for 18 people with a learning disability. It operates as a care home and conforms to the standards required by the Commission for Regulation of Care.
